Brimodin P Structure
- 0.15% (1.5 mg/ml) - Brimonidine Tartrate;

Brimodin P Indications
Brimodin P eye drops are indicated for lowering intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma.
Brimodin P Contraindications
Brimodin P eye drops are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to brimonidine tartrate or any component of Brimodin.
Brimodin P eye drops are contraindicated in patients receiving monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor therapy.
Brimodin P Dosage
Brimodin P eye drops recommended dose is 1 drop of Brimodin P in the affected eye(s) 3 times per day, approximately 9 hours
apart.
Brimodin P and Pregnancy
Brimodin P eye drops should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit to the mother justifies the potential risk
to the fetus.
Brimodin P and Nursing Mothers
It is not known whether Brimodin-P is excreted in human milk, although in animal studies, Brimodin has been shown
to be excreted in breast milk. A decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking
into account the importance of the medicine to the mother.
Brimodin P Side Effects
Side effects occurring in approximately 11-21% of the subjects, included:
- Eye pruritis;
- Conjunctival hyperemia;
- Allergic conjunctivitis;
Adverse events occurring in approximately 4-10% of the subjects included:
- Visual disturbance;
- Oral dryness;
- Hypertension;
- Conjunctival foliculosis;
- Burning sensation;
Events occurring in approximately 2-6% of subjects included:
- Worsened visual acuity;
- Vitreous floaters;
- Visual field defect;
- Superficial punctate keratopathy;
- Stinging;
- Sinusitis;
- Sinus infection;
- Rhinitis;
- Rash;
- Photophobia;
- Pharyngitis;
- Headache;
- Foreign body sensation;
- Follicular conjunctivitis;
- Flu syndrome;
- Eyelid erythema;
- Eyelid edema;
- Eye pain;

- Eye dryness;
